Terms
Last updated: July 11, 2026
These terms describe the basic rules for using RunLock's website, Android app, and iOS app.
By using the RunLock website or app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use RunLock.
RunLock is available on Android through Google Play and on iOS through the App Store or other approved Apple distribution. Features, permissions, subscriptions, and blocking behavior may vary by platform, device, operating system version, and the permissions you grant.
Some RunLock features may require a paid subscription or free trial. Android purchases are handled through Google Play where applicable, and iOS purchases are handled through Apple App Store where applicable. Prices, trial details, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown before purchase by the relevant app store or payment provider. You are responsible for managing or canceling subscriptions through the store account or billing provider used to purchase them.
RunLock encourages movement, but you are responsible for choosing safe goals and environments. Do not use RunLock in a way that distracts you while walking, running, driving, cycling, or doing anything that requires attention.
RunLock helps you limit access to selected apps until movement goals are complete. On Android, blocking depends on Android permissions, device settings, and platform behavior. On iOS, blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks, app selections, authorization status, and related device settings. Emergency unlocks, disabled permissions, operating system changes, deleted app data, account changes, or platform limits may affect blocking behavior. RunLock does not guarantee that every app, device, operating system version, or permission state will behave identically.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account, contacting support, or using paid features. We may remove invalid, abusive, duplicate, or suspicious activity.
You may not misuse RunLock, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer restricted parts of the product, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
RunLock is a productivity and digital wellbeing product. It is not medical advice, a fitness prescription, or a substitute for professional guidance.
RunLock may add, remove, test, or change features as we improve the product and respond to platform requirements. Beta and TestFlight builds may be less stable than public releases.
Our Privacy Policy explains how RunLock handles information across the website, Android app, and iOS app, including movement data, health permissions, location permissions, app-blocking selections, account data, and purchases.
RunLock is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunLock is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or app.
