This policy explains what RunLock collects, why we collect it, and how we handle information for the website, beta waitlist, and Android app.
When you join the beta waitlist, we collect your name and email address. If you use the Android app, RunLock may process movement-related information such as distance, steps, goals, unlock status, and app-blocking preferences so the product can work as intended.
We use your information to manage the beta waitlist, send product updates, operate app-locking and movement-goal features, improve RunLock, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
RunLock is designed around real-world movement. Distance goals may use location data, and step-based unlocks may use Android or Health Connect data where available. We aim to use the minimum data needed to verify goals and unlock selected apps.
We may use trusted providers such as Supabase, Vercel, analytics, email, and Android platform services to host the website, store waitlist submissions, deliver messages, and operate the product.
We keep waitlist information while the beta and launch process is active, unless you ask us to delete it. App-related data retention may vary by feature and will be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the product, safety, analytics, or legal purposes.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your waitlist information by contacting us. You can also control Android permissions such as location, activity, and Health Connect access from your device settings.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, but we work to keep RunLock’s systems disciplined and limited.
